A child is a question the future is asking. Our task is to help each student hear that question clearly, to give them the knowledge, skills, and character to answer it well.
Fifteen years is a spiral staircase. Students return to the same essential questions—What is true? What is good? What is beautiful? What do I owe others?—at each stage of development, with greater sophistication each time.
