Space Designed for Becoming

A campus is a teacher. The spaces where students learn shape how they learn—what feels possible, what is valued, what kind of person this place is trying to form.

Chingshin's campus, designed over eleven years by internationally acclaimed architect Kris Yao, balances heritage and innovation. The original 1968 red brick elementary building stands preserved—three stories of memory reminding students that they inherit a tradition. Around it rise contemporary structures of glass, light, and purpose, recipients of gold medals from the Paris Design Awards and New York MUSE Awards.

Academic Spaces

Modern classrooms feature interactive displays and digital tools. High school students participate in a one-to-one laptop and iPad program, with personal devices serving as learning accelerators across disciplines.
Six dedicated science laboratories span physics, chemistry, biology, life sciences, earth science, and technology. Our award-winning STREAM Center provides fabrication equipment, prototyping tools, and collaborative space where ideas become objects.

Libraries and Learning Commons

Four libraries serve students across divisions, totaling thousands of square meters of quiet study, collaborative work, and guided research. The upper school Learning Commons functions as intellectual commons: a place where disciplines mix and inquiry is normal.

Arts & Performance

A 324-seat auditorium spans two floors, equipped for drama, lectures, and musical performance. Dedicated music rehearsal rooms serve orchestra, wind ensemble, chamber groups, and individual practice.

Athletics & Wellness

Our 25-meter, six-lane indoor heated swimming pool meets Olympic specifications. The gymnasium offers multi-sport facilities including a rock climbing wall. A full elliptical track provides space for athletics and outdoor physical education, with full size pickleball and basketball courts.
