Admission to Chingshin is an invitation into a community that has been forming young people for over seven decades. We seek families who share our conviction that education is more than credential - it is formation.
"We do not admit students in bulk. We welcome them one by one, asking not only what they have achieved but who they are becoming."
OUR APPROACH
Selective by Design, Not by Exclusion
Chingshin is a private academy. Admission is competitive, and our process is holistic. We consider academic readiness, character, and alignment with our educational philosophy. Test scores open the door; the interview reveals the person.
We look for students who are curious rather than merely ambitious, who ask questions rather than simply accumulate answers. We look for families who understand that a Chingshin education is a partnership - between school and home, teacher and parent, tradition and individual.
Our small class sizes are a commitment. In the International Program, classes are capped at fifteen students. This is how we ensure that every student is seen.
TWO PATHWAYS
Two Roads Through Chingshin High School
Regular Program 普通班
Our comprehensive college-preparatory curriculum follows Taiwan's national standards while exceeding them.
Students are prepared for domestic university admission through the GSAT examination system, with consistent placement in Taiwan's most selective institutions.
Our GSAT performance typically exceeds national top-tier rates by four to five times across subjects. Recent graduates have entered National Taiwan University, National Tsing Hua University, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, and Taiwan's most competitive medical programs.
International Program 國際專班
For students seeking admission to universities abroad, our International Program offers a rigorous American-style curriculum including Advanced Placement courses, with optional TOEFL and SAT preparation. Beginning in tenth grade, students receive individualized college counseling guiding them toward institutions in North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, and beyond.
Classes are capped at fifteen students.
ENGLISH PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENTS
For International Program Admission
